IN ADDITION, IT IS NECESSARY TO SUPPLY 1 ORIGINAL AND 1 TRANSLATION OF THE TWO DOCUMENTS SPECIFIED BELOW. THE TRANSLATION MUST CARRIED OUT BY A TRANSLATOR REGISTRED IN THE LIST OF AUTHORIZED EXPERTS AND TRANSLATORS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC.
A copy from rap sheet record is issued by institutions and offices mentioned further. A foregoing agreement with issuing of a gun permit in the Czech Republic is issued by different institutions in every country and the applicant is required to supply it on his own.
The official language at the professional qualification exam is Czech. Therefore, the applicant needs to take the exam in Czech by himself or to ask an interpreter registered in the list of authorized experts and translators of the Czech Republic.
If the applicant fulfills the aforementioned legal duties, a gun permit is issued to him at a district (municipal) inspectorate of Police CR, valid in the Czech Republic.
A copy from rap sheet record is issued for UK citizens by National Identification Service, Subjekct Access Office, New Scotland Yard, Brodway, London SW1H 0BG or other regional or local police stations.

In addition, one original copy and one translated copy of the „Copy from the rap sheet record from one's country“ must be supplied. The translation must be carried out by a translator registered in the list of authorized experts and translators of the Czech Republic.

In accordance with the law of the Czech Republic, a gun permit does not have to be issued to a citizen of different country (except EU and NATO) by the order of a competent inspectorate even though the applicant would fulfil conditions to obtain it. There is no legal remedy against this decision and the competent authority does not substantiate its decision.
